General Motors is recalling 2026 Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia vehicles because the driver or front passenger seat back frames may have insufficient welds where the seat back recliner pivot attaches to a bracket on the seat frame. Dealers will replace the driver or front passenger seat back frames free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 7, 2026, and the GM recall number is N262576830.
