BYD is recalling 2023-2024 Ride Type A school buses. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the lift controls from stopping the wheelchair lift. The remedy is wiring correction by installing two diodes in cooperation with Ricon, at no cost to owners; letters notifying owners will be mailed on December 21, 2026.
