The recalled Scented Mistolin® Dilutable Cleaners and Lestoil® Heavy Duty Multi-Purpose Cleaners sold in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Exposure to Pseudomonas aeruginosa can lead to serious infections in people with weakened immune systems or external medical devices, and the bacteria can enter the body by inhalation, through the eyes, or through skin breaks. Healthy individuals are usually not affected by the bacteria.
