Ford Motor Company is recalling 2026 Bronco vehicles because the mounting bracket on the right-hand-side side curtain air bag may have a metal burr that can tear the air bag during deployment. Dealers will increase the space between the bracket and the air bag to remove contact, free of charge. Interim owner letters are expected to be mailed September 15, 2026, with additional remedy letters anticipated in October 2026.
